Hi there friends,
I’m back with a quick review of a lovely picture book I’ve read recently! It was a fun read which is great for helping children who may be struggling to have confidence in their own abilities. After all, we all have that little bit of magic hidden within ourselves – sometimes we just need some help figuring out what our magic is for.
I received a digital copy of this book from the publishers via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Maxwell the mouse is being bullied, his tail is growing at a rate which is out of control. It’s got to the point where he was even tripping up his best friend whilst walking home together. Oh how Maxwell hates his tail. But sometimes we all have a little bit of magic inside ourselves. A reminder from Maxwell’s mother lets his curse become a blessing.
This is a lovely short story and I really enjoyed reading this. It’s a short and sweet picture book with gorgeous illustrations. The story proves that everyone is unique and has that little bit of magic hidden within them, you’ve just got to find out what yours is too! A fun read which would be great to use with children, especially with those who have special needs or perhaps lack self-confidence. Great for boosting confidence as well as being throughly entertaining. Definitely worth a read!
If you want to get yourself learn more about the book, you can do so from the official website HERE. It is not yet available for purchase from any available online shopping websites, so keep your eyes peeled! It’s definitely a book to look out for.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my review/preview of this book. If you did, please like this post and maybe even follow my reviews. I’ll try to return the favour!
