Hi there friends,

Here’s a quick book review of a comic which I’ve throughly enjoyed reading based upon the well loved app – Angry Birds. It’s funny, witty and really quite entertaining. It’s been a great preview which I read and reviewed in August and have been waiting to share with you! Here’s my review, I hope you enjoy reading it and let me know what you think about it if you read the comic too!

I received a copy of this book by the publishers via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book uses the ever popular characters from the Angry Birds game series. With all of children’s favourite characters from the series, this comic is funny, witty and plain clever. My original expectations for this weren’t very high but it far surpassed this and was really quite enjoyable! With the bomb bird who has an unfortunate case of the hiccups and can’t stop exploding to the adventure world of Piggyland which is another cunning ploy for the pigs to steal the Angry Birds’ eggs.

It’s an entertaining quick read which will be enjoyed by fans of the game, in particular this will appeal to young boys who will enjoy reading these though girls will probably do so too! I found this comic more entertaining than the game by far, they’re short, simple, funny and to the point which is all the essential components of a good children’s comic. The illustrations are brilliant and really brought this to life. A nice short collection, which will entertain and amuse, but it isn’t a comic that I think that children will really want to revisit more than a couple of times…

If you want to pre-order a copy of the comic for yourself to share with younger ones, you can do so from Amazon UK HERE. Let me know what you think if you do read the comic in the comments below. Don’t forget to like this post if you enjoyed it or follow for even more fun book reviews!
Happy reading,
Anna x
