I have never had the pleasure of reading a Jeffrey Deaver novel before, but I certainly plan on reading more of his work after being drawn into The Final Twist. This is an action-packed thriller that will draw you in from the start. Despite not having read the previous two books in this series, it works well even if, like me, you haven’t read the earlier books. I still found it an enthralling read.
It has great characters, plenty of surprises and keeps you on the edge of your seat as the suspense and drama escalates. There are plenty of twists and turns to keep you desperate to find out what happens to Colton Shaw next. On a very personal case to expose a corporate espionage firm, Colton plans to continue where his father left off. The firm are responsible for hundreds of deaths and Colton learns he has only 48 hours to solve his latest case and try to prevent murder.
