My name is Anna and I just love reading books. Really I’m a bit nerdy and that suits me just fine. I created this blog in order to share reviews and previews of books which I’m excited about! It’s generally so I can express my love of books and share it with others really.
Feel free to add me on Goodreads or follow me on Twitter too. I’ve been reviewing books on NetGalley for over five years now and love doing so! This also means that I can keep you all up to date with new releases and share my reviews prior to the books official release. It’s all a bit exciting really.
I also participate in book groups and love to read others recommendations. If you have read a book which you think is particularly good and worthwhile for me to read and review as well, send the author’s name and book title in my direction. I’m really up for reading any genre apart from erotica, so fling some book recommendations at me. Don’t fling them too forcefully though, I’m only a small person.
I’m a primary teacher and have taught full time for the past three years. I love reading children’s literature and books aimed at young adults so it couldn’t be more perfect really. I also love science-fiction books (nerd, I told you) and anything in relation to the excellent show that is Doctor Who. It’s not just me in this family that’s addicted to reading books either, oh no. The lovely book reviewer Splashes into Books would happen to be my Mum.
If I’m not reading, the chances are I’m watching one of my favourite television programmes: Doctor Who, Torchwood, Arrow, The Flash, Sherlock, Game of Thrones, Merlin and Miranda. You can’t just watch one episode though, that would just be wrong!
